PMS SDS GIC Pithoragarh follows the syllabus in strict accordance to Uttarakhand Board for Secondary Education for the students admitted in the streams Science and Arts.

Medium of instruction is Hindi. English is taught as compulsory subject upto class X. Students of classes XI and XII are categorized to Science and Arts groups :-

Science Subject:- Hindi, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology 

Arts Subject:- Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Political Science, Geography, Economics 

The whole session is divided into two terms. The duration of Term – I is from April to September and the duration of Term – II is from October to March.
