NSS:- The National Service Scheme (NSS), a Central Sector Scheme of the Government of India, provides opportunities for student youth in schools (11th & 12th class) and higher education institutions to engage in community service, fostering personality development and character building through “Education through Service”.

• Aims and Objectives:- The NSS aims to develop the personality and character of students through voluntary community service, promoting national integration, social harmony, and leadership qualities.
• Activities:- NSS activities include community service, social service projects, cleaning drives, plantation, health and sanitation programs, and more.
• Motto:- The motto of NSS is “NOT ME BUT YOU”.
  Key areas of focus:-
• Community Mobilization: Engaging students in community activities and projects.
• Leadership Development: Fostering leadership qualities and democratic values.
• Social Responsibility: Promoting a sense of social and civic responsibility.
• National Integration: Practicing national integration and social harmony.
• Emergency Preparedness: Developing capacity to handle emergencies and natural disasters.
